đđ»Actions YOU can do right now to support Monica Montgomery Steppe for Council President

Monica talking to the club in November 2017
Hello ,
Â
Actions items you can do to support Monica Montgomery Steppe for Council President. Let's tell our recently elected councilmembers what we want them to do as their first item of business!Â
On December 10 (this Thursday) our new San Diego City Councilmembers will vote to elect the next Council President.  We have the chance to elect an exceptionally qualified, unbought, unbossed, fair, respectful, progressive leader with multiple achievements that benefit the citizens of the entire city - the Peopleâs Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe. If you need more information, please see Monica4Prez.org.
This is important for our entire region - a test to see if people power can win against the interests that have always run the city.
A lot is on the line. YOU have agency to ensure our new Councilmembers start off right by voting for exceptional leadership, justice & equity for our entire community by getting enough people up to speed and taking these 2 quick actions today:
1.  If you live in San Diego City please SIGN.  SHARE by text / direct message / email with your friends, family, and co-workers, especially those not active in the Democratic Party. Educate your personal community (small or big) about this important vote and have them sign.
After you sign to support, then please email, tweet or Instagram your Councilmember to support Monica.Â

Let's get their phones ringing off the hook, fill up their voicemails, and text them to vote for Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe. This is how people power will overcome wealthy interests. Call and get at least one other person to call with you.
We can win by each doing a little right now.

Our next meeting is 6:30pm Monday, December 21. Our special guest will be Delaine Eastin, who is running for Chair of the California Democratic Party. We will be sending out more information about this meeting very soon.
